Today, bicycles represent much more than mere locomotion. They combine mobility, sport, leisure, and everyday life – and with an eBike, longer distances, challenging tours, and daily commutes can be managed even more flexibly.

The eBike is no longer a product for a specific age group. From comfortable city eBikes to sporty trekking and gravel bikes, and even full-suspension eMountainbikes, there is now a suitable model for almost every area of use. It is precisely this variety that inspires us anew every day.

Experience in the bicycle industry since 1994

eBike Center Süd is no newcomer to the bicycle industry. The current managing director of Koinet GmbH, Jürgen Wazian, turned his hobby into a profession back in 1994.

After studying marketing, he moved to French-speaking Switzerland to Sevysa and built up the distribution of mountain bikes in Germany. Later, he worked as sales manager for the Canadian bicycle manufacturer Kona before becoming self-employed with the agency SOG Sportmanagement.

During this time, Jürgen Wazian organized numerous major cycling events. These included the Road Hill Climb Championship, the German Downhill Championship, the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup, the 24-hour race in Munich's Olympic Park, and several mountain bike marathon series.

From a Bikepark Idea to an International Meeting Place

One of the biggest projects was the creation of what is now the MTB ZONE Bikepark at Geißkopf in Bischofsmais. The concept was groundbreaking for its time: An entire mountain was equipped with downhill trails of varying difficulty. You went up with the chairlift and back down into the valley with a mountain bike.

Companies like BMW and Deutsche Post were also enthusiastic about the idea and supported the project as partners for many years. The bikepark was used, among other things, as a platform for events, riding technique training, and corporate incentives.

Today, the bikepark is one of the most well-known mountain bike destinations in Europe and attracts riders from many different countries. eMountainbikes are now also an integral part of the offerings there.

This long-standing experience still forms the foundation of eBike Center Süd. In our specialist shop in Blumberg, we provide personal advice on selecting your new eBike, bicycle or suitable accessories.

Our service does not end with the purchase. Our workshop takes care of inspections, repairs, software updates and technical questions about your bike. Through regular training and workshops, including those on drive systems from Bosch and Avinox, we stay up-to-date with new technologies.
